This is the single most ridiculous thing that has ever happened to me while playing D&D. I had this rogue-ish character trying to ignore an apparently harmless fairy.
Then, out of nowhere comes this magic missile attack from behind, which basically kills my character.

Got pummeled by a fairy.
That does a lot for one's self esteem
